Thanks to everyone who helped on this. I found this http://cessna170.com/forums/viewtopic.p ... 76&start=0 post from the association today. I looked for something like this the other day for 2 hours with the forum search, and today it turns up in a google search. Being that this $6 part is cleanable and there is no viable alternative, it is getting cleaned and put back in.
