Where to send my turn coordinator for a rebuild?
The white background of my turn slip coordinator is now black making the black ball nearly impossible to see. I want to send it somewhere that does good work at a reasonable price. I was told my the A&P that it would probably cost somewhere in the $300 price range. Where is a good place to send it?

I've used Keystone Instruments in Lockhaven PA.
Very good service and quality work. Prices are very fair.
I've had them re-do my Airspeed, Altimeter and VSI two years ago. Good people.
I'm going to be sending them my DG in a month or so.

I second AQI...had all my instruments overhauled by them. Even took my attitude indicator back to them to reset the tilt, which they did at no additional charge.gahorn wrote:I have had excellent service from Aircraft Quality Instruments in Wichita, KS.

Just for the record I think you will find just as many seconds for Keystone Instruments. Depends on where you live I suppose. I wouldn't bypass Keystone in Pa. to ship my stuff to Kansas. From Indiana you wouldn't be so AQ might make the most sense.
