I always wondered if this applied to the brass nuts on the O-300 exhaust, or more to the larger engines. After a long day with little rest, my mind is thinking the O-300 had larger studs than .25", but I could certainly be wrong...Aryana wrote:Continental SB96-7C (Torque Limits) says that the .25-28 Nut-Exhaust manifold flange with a Spirotallic gasket requires 100-110 in/lb or 8.3-9.2 ft lb. don't confuse the size of the wrench used with the size of the stud a .25 stud takes a 7/16
