170 mechanic near Minneapolis

Post by GAD »

Does anyone know of a good 170 mechanic near Minneapolis, MN? I may need a pre-purchase inspection done in a couple of weeks and I’m not sure if mine will be available?

Thanks, Greg

I'm based just south of MSP. My FBO maintains several 170s and are familiar with older airplanes as they do restoration work. Tell them I told you to give them a call.

Ask for Ben Redman

Tell them your CESSNA 170 ASSOC'N provided you with their name, and mention Kyle as-a-member also! (Tell 'em they should join!)

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)

The RARE Aircraft folks hung out with us at the excellent 170 fly-in that Kyle and Becky hosted last August. They showed us their facility, and in the evening Ben Redman gave a bunch of us rides around the airport in a gorgeous restored WACO. They're really great people! And from the looks of what's in their shop, they do exceptionally good work.
