ALREADY MISS MY OVERGROWN 170 (180)

Post by Harold Holiman »

I sold my 180 and watched it fly away today. A very sad day, but necessary because of medical. We are still planning to go to the Texas convention either by big bird or by light sport, medical conditions cooperating. Hope to see ya'll then.

ditto
being an AME
i see this all the time.
but most of the guys (or gals)
in my area are not only patients of mine
but also my friends.
they know when they are unable to fly
and usually just tell me that they
won't be in the next time for their flight physical.
most are upbeat and simply turn
to their 2nd favorite past time.

Harold, we will miss that overgrown 170 at our flyins, but that doesn't mean its former owners (you & Carolyn) can't keroscene queen it to the conventions and I understand I-20 & I-30 aren't bad ways to get to Petit Jean next May. We will be looking for you!

Take care & the best of health to you.

Hey, at least it came to a good home :) Honest Harold, I'll take very good care of it.

That hole we climbed through from La Fayette was the only one we saw for two hours 8O We had a good trip from Shreveport today. Got to Payson at 14:00 (2 hour time change benefit). A lot of bumps, some headwinds some tailwinds. Bled the left brake at our first stop, some oil on the belly but a very straight flying bird. Thank you. You are a true gentleman and I wish you the very best.
