George where did you get that part number? I just rechecked my parts manual for the c-145 and it is the #637083. I've found no other cross reference except to the part #21352 that it superseded.
FWIW, The new spring I put in my engine is a 637083. I also installed a new 21114 plunger. My cold idling oil pressure (with 20W50 oil) is over 30 before I can refocus on the oil pressure gauge after starting the engine, and is about 52-53 in cruise at 200-210 degrees oil temperature. I haven't yet noticed what the hot idling oil pressure is. Maybe this evening...

And as always I'm curious where the heck you got the description for that spring?

By George your right. 8) Very interesting.

I can't find that part number (631706) available anywhere. It does not match the part number (637083) called out in my parts manual x-30014, November 1982.

Just checked the same table for the C-75 through 0-200 x30010, Jan 1984 and found the same different part number (631706) listed when the parts manual for these engines also has the spring as #637083.
