2006 C170 Calendars -SOLD OUT!!!
Moderators: GAHorn, Karl Towle, Bruce Fenstermacher
I received the first printing of 100 calendars from the printer yesterday and shipped them out this morning!!!
First Class mail turned out to be cheaper than Media mail, so I went that route. The savings in postage will be added to the donation to TIC170A. Folks should be receiving them in the next few days.

Doug et all
I just received my calendars and they look even better than the proof I saw at Lancaster.
I think everyone who buys one will be pleased.
Next year we will see what we can do about getting the TIC170A logo on the calendar.

I'll add my testimonial -- mine arrived yesterday. This is really valuable to me, and not just because my 170 is on the cover. This calendar has real, personal meaning to most of us!
Thanks, Doug!

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate the support and kind words. It's only right that I point out that the thanks also belong to all those who took the time to send me photos. Without them, there would be no calendar.
Folks like those credited on the calendar, along with many others, sent me many digital images. People like Eric Taylor, Russ Farris, and others went to the trouble of sending me (a guy they'd never met) photos & slides via US mail so I could scan them. In fact, the pic from Russ Farris is an actual slide from his EAA photo shoot (see EAA Vintage - August 2003) - obviously an irreplaceable item. If not for the trust and generous donations of folks like them, we would be looking at blank pages.
I'd also like to say a special "thank you" to Bruce Fenstermacher and Dave Laseter who also helped a great deal with ideas and getting the word out to help generate orders and make this successful. Because this was a success, I'll be able to do this again next year.
Now, y'all get off your duffs and go take some high-res digital pics for 2007. It's cold and snowy in many parts of the country these days. No time for sittin' indoors... it's time to get ski pics!
