Wonder if an announcement, about the 2006 Calendars, should be put in the Fly-Paper (deadline 10th), and 4th qtr 170 News (deadline Dec 15th) I believe.

Hi Doug,

Please put me down for one order. I'll be sending you the $$$ via snail mail. Darn .... I should be flying today. WX on the Cape is perfect ... however, I'm on duty till 11:00 PM.

Hate when work spoils a fine day of flight.

Thanks,

Kyle

I had a question regarding international shipping. Yes, I will ship internationally (already have orders from Canada - thanks guys) as long as the buyer understands that the calendar is a U.S. one meaning it will only have U.S. holidays. I'm sure the ability to gaze at beautiful C170s throughout the year will outweigh any inconvenience regarding holidays. :D 8)

Thanks everyone! Keep those orders coming. Current order count is 58 (and I know there are some others on the way). Don't let my initial estimate of 100 deter you from ordering. I'm perfectly willing and able to order as many as necessary to get the job done. Let's make this as successful as possible for the Association and our collective enjoyment. :D

Doug brought full size color proofs of the calendar to Lancaster today and they sure look good.

We're all going to have to start taking high res photos for next year. 8O

Thanks again Doug. Nice job.

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd post an update on things:

The printer is still expecting to ship the calendars to me next week. If things continue as they have indicated, I should have the calendars to ship to y'all sometime the week of Dec. 5th. I'll update this thread as the days get closer.

The initial printing of 100 is nearly sold out. As of today, 88 have been bought leaving 12 still available. If you want one with a good chance of getting it before the holidays, I'd suggest ordering soon (like this week :D ). Those of you who have expressed an interest in one or more calendars, but have not sent me a check yet, may want to get one in the mail soon. These are selling at a good clip including 17 individuals who have bought more than one (one person bought 6!).

At the rate I've been receiving orders (about 32 per week), I expect on ordering a second printing in the next couple weeks. The sooner I get the orders, the sooner I can gauge how many I'll need and the sooner you all can get them. There will be a notice in the December Flypaper and I'm hoping this will generate additional interest & orders from folks who do not make use of the website and forum.

Thanks for the orders everyone. Let's keep them coming and help make this successful for all.

Have a great Thanksgiving...

OK, the first run of 100 is sold out and I already have names for the 2nd printing. All payments received after today (11/26/2005) wil be put on that list. The sooner I get the orders, the sooner I can give the printer an accurate count and get the calendars out to everyone.

Thanks for all the support.
