Right now on ebay Beegles is selling the "as removed" angle p/n 0512108 from 170A s/n 19029. Pics show circular holes.

Just wondering whether the location of the round holes changed during production. Just another piece of data for Bruce to capture

I queried Pete Jones over at Air Repair about round vs slotted holes and he said he'd never seen a slotted hole. But if the horiz/stab were re-positioned slightly in the L19 to require the hole to be situated further forward... then a slotted angle might accommodate both airplanes with one part-number.c170b53 wrote:Just wondering whether the location of the round holes changed during production. While this is an interesting postulation,... it's important for folks to understand it's a commonly-found and correct (Cessna-made) part.... not one that's been improperly altered.

I have what looks like a new one if anyone is interested. Looks like they are not made anymore. pN 0512108 c170 angle stab attach. Has the slotted holes.
