I didn't get to finish all the paint so the sub panel and door pillars are still off.
New interior, carpet, rosen visors, door stewards ...the whole nine yards.

Pretty much done and ready just in time for Oshkosh tomorrow!!

David,
Beautiful, good work!
May I ask a question though? My instrument panel is almost identical to yours and I have trouble seeing the tops of my instruments. Setting the DG is hard to do, accurately, without putting my head in the right seater's lap. Did you have to enlarge the holes in the upper/outer panel cover? I've been wanting to paint my panel to match my trim like you did but I think I have some details to attend to first.

The panel is stock. I have to lean over to see the instruments head on as well but have gotten used to reading them from the side. The DG is in the center so I can see that fine. The tach and altimeter are easy enough to read at a glance and I never use the VSI.

The trim panel comes off with two screws but the lower panels require you to pull your yokes, primer and cigaret lighter....plus a few screws but still an easy job. I painted them with rustoleum spray paint. Placards are made with a Brother P-Touch tape printer using the transparent tape and white ink. Trim the tape close to the letters to make it look better.
