2013 Calendars - Better late than never! - Now Shipping

Post by doug8082a »

Ok, I know I'm late this year, but here goes...

I am now taking orders for the 2013 Cessna 170 Calendar. This is a professionally printed 12 month calendar (1/13 - 12/13) with photos supplied by fellow 170 owners.

This is a personal project on my part, however, ALL profits over and above my costs for printing/shipping will be donated to TIC170A.

United States and Canada Orders
For all orders from within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii) and Canada - $13 (USD) per calendar.

International Orders
For all orders from outside the United States and Canada - $16 (USD) per calendar.

Order/contact info:
My email address is "mowryd@hotmail.com", so feel free to contact me if you have a question. My phone number is in the TIC170A members directory, so you can also call me if you wish.

If you wish to mail a check, please make it out to "Douglas Mowry" and mail it to :
Douglas Mowry
PO Box 791
Douglas, MA 01516

I also accept Paypal @ "mowryd@hotmail.com" if you prefer.

When ordering please include the following:
Name
Shipping address
Quantity requested
Some method of contact (email, phone, etc.) in case there are any hangups.

If you are unfamiliar with Paypal but want to use it, proceed as follows:
Go to http://www.paypal.com - click "Send Money", on the right is a box entitled "Send Money" - follow the instructions to register (it's free) and send your payment to "mowryd@hotmail.com". There is a place for you to include a note to indicate your order quantity and shipping information.

International orders will also be accepted, however, please keep in mind that this is a U.S. calendar with U.S. holidays. The ability to gaze at beautiful C170s throughout the year should outweigh any inconvenience caused by non-applicable or missing holidays!

Awesome Doug! I looked in the member's only section and saw where the topic took off in the past few days. I'll be putting in my order for a couple of calendars tomorrow!

HI Folks,
Just a quick update... the printer indicated they shipped me the calendars late last week so I hope to received them this week and should be shipping them out shortly thereafter.

Well, the governor has ordered everyone off the roads by 4:00pm, but I managed to get to the post office and get the calendars in the mail. So, anyone who has ordered via Paypal or mailed a check that I received as of yesterday (2/7) is now in the mail.

I apologize again for being so late this year. Thank you to everyone for your patience.

Just got back from a hell-atious week on the road, opened my mailbox and POOF - all my worries disappeared when I saw the calendar. Outstanding! Thanks for taking this on.

Well it is the other side of the country from Washington State. The North East was getting hit with another of those "perfect storms". Dumped over two and in some cases three foot of snow in Connecticut and Massachusetts in less than a 24 hour period. People were ordered off the streets in order for the plows to be able to more easily try and keep them open.

I have a cousin living in the area who is a school teacher. Schools had been closed nearly a week and it was about 5 days until the plows, actually front end loaders as it was to deep for plows, opened his street.
CAUTION - My forum posts may be worth what you paid for them!

What Bruce said....

It was quite a storm and the folks closer to the coast got it worst. Worcester (20 min. from me in central MA) officially got 28 inches and I had at least 24 in the yard. It's hard to truly gauge the amounts when the winds are blowing 40G65. Folks closer to the coast had 30+ inches in some areas and wind gusts 70+mph. CT got dumped on with close to 40 inches in a couple areas. It took a couple days before the local roads could accommodate two-way traffic again.

I'm still seeing semis with dump trailers moving loads of snow out of Worcester.
