Desser tire. Their recaps are awesome and last a long time. They usually use a Goodyear flight custom frame then recap. They go for about $85/tire. I go through a lot of tires in crosswind landing practice when my students practice their wheel landings. D

Just replaced my michellan aviators with new ones (700x6) after 8 years...480 hrs....gazillion landings bought from desser. my 172 leaseback has the monster retreads on them, I dont have to worry about dryrot, they burn the tread off them fast enough, however they use premium tire carcass for their retreads, very happy with thoses as well
