IO-360 update

Post by ak2711c »

It lives! I started it today. She purred like a kitten, what a sweet sound. I hope tomorrow I can give you all a flight report. I have a few things to finish up on it before flight but I think by afternoon I should be ready. I am gonna throw my skis on first too. There are a lot more options for an emergency landing when on skis.

Congratulations! How excited you must be! Can't wait to hear the reports of 200 foot takeoffs in this cold air...

I am excited for you and very interested in hearing about the maiden flight. I would love to fly over and see the plane and meet you some time. I have been looking at upgrading my engine as well.

Hey Shawn, I will be back on that side of the mountains in a week or so for about 10 days. I will be in touch. J.
