According to http://www.airnav.com/airport/33CO it's 8820 feet high and 7400 feet long. Probably doable in a not-to-heavily-loaded stock-engined 170 on a cool morning. It'd be nice to have a JATO just in case, though!

We have takeoff and landing data from Cessna for elevations up to 7000' and temps up to 100F. At 8820' pressure altitude, the temperature would have to be somewhere in the mid-50s F to be within the boundaries of the performance charts. But with 7400 feet of grass, you've got a long time to figure out if it's going to fly or not! 8)

We live half way between Burk and the base. The boys go to school in Burk. We are currently hangared at the Valley.

You can see OK and the Red River in the top of the pics looking to the north. The bluffs are in OK.
