very nice pics!!
i enjoyed them very much.
i love looking a pics.
i restore wwii jeeps
and have taken over
10,00 pics of this along.
i use a casio camera
where one can shut off the flash
and take very nice close ups.
where does one get
the lighting device on the ceiling?

Great photos!

Question, when you click on the "Blanca Peak" photo it looks like you can see an adjustable airleron trim tab?

Yes Doug that is what that is. I have one as well. It is an STC'd product that is eligable for most airplanes made. It can also be used for rudder trim on some aircraft.

On my aircraft the trim tab has very little effect full travel either way. I'd not install one at least on a 170.

When we bought the plane we were told it flew a little left wing down. We have not experienced any abnormal imbalance, so it's probably not necessary. Perhaps with the aux tank, it was used more as the right tank was drained in cruise before refilling with the aux.
We want to get some better full view pictures out of the hangar, so there may be some better ones coming when we get around to taking more.
