The plane was based in Nashua NH, though Ken Miller lived just across the line in Mass. He owned the plane since 1964! and had a 180 conversion in it. He had told me he was a former member of the Asso. I've seen him fly many times and he certainly knew that airplane. He sustained a broken neck, broken arm, and ribs. He is able to move his arms and legs. Her injuries were not so substantial. The hangar is about 100' off the grass runway. The evening was perfect for flying. According to persons at the airport He lifted off and then slowly turned towards the hangar.
