Cross Country Assistance

Post by av8ter »

Hello All,
Looks like my job will be taking me to Juneau AK for a couple of years. Was wondering if anybody has some good VFR routes to the Pacific Northwest as well as up to Juneau from Maine. Not sure on a specific date yet, probably mid June to Early July. Should have ample time (2weeks or better) to make the trek. Will be flying my 49 "A" model, pretty typical machine c-145, horton kit, climb prop. 8.00 series tires, mode c, portable gps. Only concerns are jumping up over the Rockies and I understand some of the routes up to the Juneau area require flying over water with minimal choices for emergency landing if needed.... Hoping you guys/gals will do what you do best.. Give great information and feedback. Thanks, Mike..
