Locating Father's 170B
Hello, I just registered on this forum and I am in need of a little help! For the past few years I have had an itch to become a pilot. So I have decided to start the process this year at Chandler Air Service in Chandler, AZ.(http://www.aerobatics.com). Anyway, my dad had a 1950 something 170B that he owned and I would like to try to hunt that exact plane down to see what the condition is and possibly purchase the old bird. Sounds a little far fetched, but its something that I have always wanted to do. How exactly would you start this search? Questions, comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Why doesn't this site have any pics. of everyone 170s?! Thanks!

I just looked in my membership directory. Looks like N3279A is owned by one of our members - William Nash of Vista CA. PM me and I'll send you his adddress info. Or better yet, join the association and you'll get your own membership directory!

A search of the FAA database shows the owner as "Sale Reported". Perhaps it was recently sold?
