Hello All, new guy here

Post by KG »

Hi everybody. I'm in the market to buy a 170 and have been finding lots of good info here.

I have minimum tailwheel time so will requre a proper checkout. I was hoping to get this done even before I buy an airplane. Can anyone here recommend a CFI who has a 170 that they use for training?

I'm in the Southeast but have the ablility to travel so location isn't a big factor.

Thanks in advance. With any luck I'll be seeing some of you at a fly-in soon.

There used to be two 170s at Wiscasset Maine, unsure of there status.

Hi, Keith! WELCOME to TIC170A membership!
You might try calling a few fellow members in the Directory that live nearby to see who they use for their bi-annual reviews. You'd likely get a couple of good recommendations. Good luck. Keep us posted!

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
