Fuel and brake line replacement specifications

Post by sanships »

I am replacing most fuel and brake lines for my project. Does anyone have a material spec for the primer, main fuel and brake lines so I can just purchase by the roll? Is there any item that should not be done by the mechanic and bought new from cessna? Thanks!

With the number of questions being asked sounds like a rebuild in progress. Possibly the most important question to answer is who is going to sign for your work. They may have a preference when choosing manufacturer's and materials. In the end he has to be satisfied so that the Airworthiness Feds are satisfied.
