Congratulations Rusty! A well deserved award. I knew once you allowed your 170 to be judged that it would be a winner. Hopefully you can bring it to the 2019 convention in Newton. KS.

Rusty,
Having just read the Sport Aviation article on your plane I’m in awe of your dedication with the polisher. It’s mirror finish is absolutely breathtaking! Congratulations on a very well deserved award.

Rusty,
Quick question. Would you happen to have a paint code for the gray on your engine case? I know it’s a different shade of gray than Lycoming uses. I asked the tech rep at TCM and he didn’t have it. Randolph paint didn’t have it. Tim McKnight at Air Repair recommended Awlgrip G1577.
Thanks

We are looking for the paint can now. Brent just told me it must be at home and not the shop.

Rusty, Would you happen to have the paint code for the turquoise color? My 1955 striping was turquoise out of the factory, same scheme as yours, repainted a bright blue quite some time ago, and is now at the paint shop awaiting a new coat after most of the striping wore off and corrosion set in. I am trying to match the factory scheme and color and yours is by far the best looking replica I've seen.

Tom I can send you a picture of the codes on the can. Send me your E-Mail it needs to be tinted just a little darker.
