Hello Cessna 170 Association members and guests,
Since our eating options are somewhat less plentiful than normal (we do hope what we consider normal returns someday), it is difficult to select a suitable place that will work well for our group.
We have not been to Stephenville http://www.airnav.com/airport/KSEP for quite sometime and it has always been a good destination, so let's fly there and eat at the Hard 8 BBQ https://hardeightbbq.com/location/stephenville/ They have more seating capacity than some places so I think if we arrive prior to 11:00 am, and get to the restaurant promptly, we will all be seated inside and enjoy their great meat.
If you have questions or suggestions please contact Ken Peck at 512-468-7790 or c170ken@earthlink.net

Texas members flew to Stephenville KSEP for lunch at the Hard Eight BBQ. Everyone enjoyed visiting and admiring the very fine examples of Cessna 170s on the flight line. Nine 170s were present including two past Grand Champions of Airventure at Oshkosh.
Nineteen people were present including: Leroy Fournier, John Bowen & Rylan Marcum, Paul Wood, Jay & Patricia Craddock, Rusty, Mark & Blake Morris, Karl Towle, Jim & Vicky Yates, Pete & Judi Coffey, Mark & Shelly McMillan, Bill Harger, Robbin Adams and Ken Peck.
Good weather, great people, beautiful 170s and good food. Pretty hard to beat that.
Life is good.

We are proud to be a part of the 170 family. Charlie will always be Steve’s plane. We are just temporary custodians of her. Hopefully we can give her the love that Steve gave her! So glad we were able to bring her “home” to this fun group of pilots and enthusiasts!!

All our monthly fly-ins are great fun, and this one was one of the best. Let's hope for many more, and thanks to Ken for tirelessly organizing them.
