Tailwheel Steering Rigging

Post by Ron »

In the process of converting a 170 floatplane to wheels and all the cables , hardware, pulleys etc which go from rudder cables to the tailwheel are gone. Parts book doesn't show this installation in detail, does anyone know where there is a drwing and a parts list of that stuff back there? and where to hook it up? Thanks much.

What year? Late '55s changed. Otherwise it's just sash chain and a spring from the rudder control horn to the tailwheel

If you look on page 5-25 of the SRAM book sold by the Association you'll see the complete installation drawings by Scott. To purchase the book, contact Velvet at headquarters@cessna170.org

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)
