The elevator trim push-pull rod was missing on my 170B project. I assumed it was 2 AN486-3P (MS27975-3) clevis forks on either end of a 1/4" dia. solid steel rod. But then looking at the parts manual it refers to it as a "tube assembly" in fig. 16-57. Did I screw up when I ordered those clevis forks from Aircraft Spruce? If so, what type of rod ends does the trim tab actuating rod/tube use?
Thanks to anyone who can help on on this.

If you are speaking of Assy # 0310293-11, one end is a bearing, and the other has a gear pinned to it. The gear is turned by a chain. If you are speaking of 0334109-6, I think it's a hollow tube with a clevis on each end. I think it's a bit biger than 1/4". It has been years since I looked at mine. If you don't have one, try putting a free ad in the TI170A newsletter. Someone may have an extra.
