The strutless red airplane looks to me like one of those bushers made up in Canada. I don't remember the name, but some float pilots don't care for them since they have no struts to help in docking.

My guess is it's a Found Aircraft Bush Hawk.

Does the tow bar on the Kubota tend to flex the amphib nose struts to the sides when moving the plane?

I have the Sportsman Kit on my 170, and like it, slow speed handling is great, and T.O. roll is pretty short.
