is there an stc for 8042 prop on six cylinder 0 300?thanks, tg

The STC only covers the 8 bolt flange tho.
I just talked to Kentmore Air Harbor yesterday about their STC being used with an O300-D motor.
It only covers the 1A175-DM propeller and the C145 or O300-A or B motors.

The propeller exists for the 6 bolt flange but would require field approval.

I have the McCauley 1A175/SFC8040 and O-300-D in my '52 170B. Installation was in 1988 and paperwork consisted of FAA Form(s) 337. Prop 337 makes reference to adequate prop clearance with one main tire flat and static RPM to fall within limits of 170B type certificate. Good luck with getting an approval following this approach.

I always look across the runway to see who has the hanger open. If you see my white Taurus by the old t hangers stop over. I may learn something.
