Enjoyed the additional photos and the good big band music! It would be interesting to hear more about the gathering of aircraft, what the occasions (s) may have been, etc.

That is the Kollsman 518B-01 installed per Cessna Dwg 0511051, item 605 on the TCDS. It is a rare sight.

Who's doing the version of "Mary had a little lamb"? Great pics and the story might be better.

That version of "Mary Had a Little Lamb" was recorded in a training session of our own "flying blues band" called "Lentävät Luupäät" (= "The Flying Bone Heads") :)

The story behind those pictures is just like this: We are just having fun at sunny winter weekends and fly to Gulf of Bothnia -sea between Finland and Sweden near the city of Oulu and Kemi to see icebreaker ships and the ships sailing in icy routes. Usually we fly together with those Top Cub and C150XL tailtragger both having same home airfield Ahmosuo (EFAH) in the city of Oulu, Finland. Also the ultralights seen on pictures are based at same airfield. The Socata Rallye tailtragger and KZ Laerk are from the neighbour city of Raahe.

The icebreaker ships "OTSO", "KONTIO", "SISU" and "URHO" are the biggest icebreakers in the Finnish icebreaker fleet and they are helping marine traffic to the harbours of Kemi and Oulu during coldest winter time. The "FREJ" -icebeaker belongs into the fleet of Sweden. The SAMPO-icebreaker is an old ship and retired from active service and doing now tourist cruises from the harbour of Kemi (see http://www.visitkemi.fi/en/ ). We have visited on the board of those ships when they were in "anchor" on the frozen sea.

I was hoping, those pictures tells more than thousands of words, so I was so lazy to write long stories ;)
But if you have more questions, it would be my pleasure to answer...

At first I thought it might be an early SRV version and although his versions are muchi slicker, yours has a early sixties sound, simpler and to me more enjoyable, very well done. Thanks for the explanations

This was one of my overnight stops between Charlottesville VA and my home in Anchorage. I landed at dusk at Fairholme Farm International Airport, Lewisville, IN just befor dusk. The international terminal is seen in the background.

Do those great big tires make it dive when you close the throttle?

You mean it isn't supposed to? 8)
It was already a 100 mph airplane with the climb prop so no speed loss noticed.
The big tires are very user friendly.
