Yes Miles, I stand corrected. Thinking about it Pederson was his name. I write this from Hong Kong and the logs are in Niagara Falls so I can't reference the books.
The owners have taken care of the plane well. I met Mr Golbert, a previous owner, by chance when I picked up the aircraft in Manitoba. He told me to the minute how long it took to polish it! I bought her for my retirement enjoyment, polishing included.

John, a captain with Canadian Pacific airlines (which merged with Pacific Western airlines to become Canadian Airlines) passed away this past spring in Vancouver. I believe we announced his passing at our annual convention Bardstown.

Thanks Jim, sorry to hear that. If it was announced at Bardstown, I missed it. John isn't mentioned in the minutes of the Memebership Meeting with others we lost in the last year. I found an obituary that says he passed away July 2, just a couple of weeks before the Convention.

It's that time of year again. The 180 is out of the water & going into the hangar for winter storage. Snow is in the forecast & the skis will soon be going on the 170.

Ha! Sometimes I don't visit each topic during a visit, but may come back to visit it at a later date. This one about photos is down the list for me since I primarily look for posts about mx issues in efforts to help.

A little fun a few day ago. Doesn't bode too well for the red/green debate...
