C170 Parts Purchase GUAM

Post by MoonlightVFR »

What a surprise!

8-10 years ago I purchased a new Landing Light Lens fixture from EBAY reasonable price and delivery. Happy ebayer.

Just installed it. Beautiful. Here is the Surprise I looked at the shipping carton. Return address was GUAM yes GUAM. What in the world! A new in box , never installed Cessna part from Guam!

Guam is 7400 miles from my home in St Louis! I did not know.

Surely the vendor must have a passion for aviation. A love , a connection.

And there is a guy from GUAM who has a lot of Cub parts. No idea if he's the same guy but how many parts guys can there be from GUAM. His parts quality is always questioned by would be buyer but those that have bought from him seem to be pleased with their merchandise.
