Riveting the wing panels ?

Post by butchpilot170 »

Hi ! Anybody have any experience riveting wing panels ? Because of some wrinkles when the previous owner flipped this bird over the inboard, bottom panel (32"x 76") has been taken off by me . The gas tank has also been removed for now. Need to know if cherry rivets can be used or do I need to use solid aluminum rivets that I guess have to be bucked ? If solid is the only answer how in the h#%^ do you do it ? Thx in advance, the ButchPilot !

A Jim Musgrove sent me a very detailed explanation of riveting my wing panels. I'm going to see if he minds me sending it to our club. It is very comprehensive and well done .
