Pre oiler kit availability

Post by MoonlightVFR »

I realize pre oiler was necesseary for some WW11 radials

Did the technology ever trickle down to TCM flat engines?

I mean a truely ceertified kit.

Oil pressure prior to first rvolution should certainly save a few cam lobes , lifter bodies.

C145/O300's don't have that problem. That's a Lycoming problem.

It's not obvious to me that a pre-oiler would get any oil to the cam lobes. They are not pressure lubricated.
