Pushrod kit 0-300A

Post by Lee »

Hi ... quick service by Spruce ... Real Gasket pushrod kit/STC came in this morning ... talked to my IA and the kit will be installed once we know the condition of the cylinders ... bore scoping those this week. The fun never stops! R/Lee (N1967C)

Hope you will give us some on-going progress reports after installation to see if they stop (and continue to do so) oil leaks associated with push rod tubes. If they work it sure would relieve the dripping oil from the old style ones. Then to figure out, short of installing a light weight starter, how to keep drips from the starter engage gear. Seals only help for a short time :x

The Real Gasket push rod tubes have not leaked a drop on my plane in 300hrs since 2009 after we re-sealed one that leaked after initial installation.

Can we get a update on this kit? I am looking into getting it installed also and was wondering if you are happy with the results. How many shop hours does it take to install?? Thanks for the update.
