Hi Christine
I keep my 170B at Plymouth MA. You can also contact Alpha1 at PYM and speak to Jon Greenlaw. They have a Citabria that they rent and Jon can check you out in a 170 like he did for me. I bought mine from a gentleman from Maine. We agreed on a price and then I told him he would have to deliver it to PYM for me as I had not flown a tailwheel for 30 years. At first Jon was trying to keep me on the centerline. I was trying to keep it on the runway.
I hope to be at Cranland (28M) on Sunday for the EAA breakfast. Stop by and say hi.

Welcome to the Association. I have flown into Minute Man to visit my adopted daughter in Lowell and she worked next to Norwood. You have chosen a very good tailwheel plane. Enjoy the experience and flight.

Christine,

I'm over in Mansfield (1B9) with a polished 180HP Cessna 170, and you're welcome to go for a ride any time. I'm also a licensed A&P/R&E/IA with an MBA that works in Norwood, so give me a call or text me if you want some additional information. (508) 740-1044

Dick, that's a tough choice!

I met a lot of great people there last month and I plan to attend again on Sunday. Fly safe if you decide to come. I'll keep my eyes out for you!

Airplane shopping has finally come to an end, and I'm very proud to be the new owner of N2481D.

David - Thanks for all the great advice. I promise to take extra good care of her!

Christine,

I think you did very well with your purchase. Beautiful 170, and I am partial to the 52 and prior years aesthetics. I am 10 months into ownership and the plane really is a delight to fly. I think you are in for a very good time.

Enjoy!

You're going to make me start missing her again. Which is good because it will motivate me to finish 95D sooner.

Congrats on a great airplane. The last owner must have been a fool to let her go :)

That's great news. When do you bring it home and where will you keep it?

Hi Dick, it's here and is based in Mansfield. We tried to fly over to Cranland yesterday, but the clouds were too low. Maybe next month...
