Hey everybody - (Dave L. retired)

I forgot to tell y'all - I'm retired. :D .. So you can drop by anytime now!
Actually I'm in a learning curve - figured out I need to get a morning routine.

Dave, good for you, ...Miles is on retirement final. I've been thinking about it myself.

I was retired for about four months. It was way too much work, no free time. I went and got 1 full-time job and 2 part-times to make my life easier.

Dave, congratulations on your retirement. I seem to remember one time you told me how many more round trips you had to make to AK before you could retire. Finally made them I guess. Now you have to be diligent with you spare time or Tracie will find all kinds of things for you to do

Well so far I hang out at the airport all day, every day, like I have no where else to go. I do have those two grandbabies, all though I have to share them with the other grandparents who live closer. So I just pulled a fast one. Tryston is a photographer and needed a studio/office - I brokered her a 3 yr contract on the old FBO building. And there is a romper room in the back.... I just can't hardly believe it! ha ha

Spoil the heck out of them Dave, then send them home to mama :D That is what grandparents are supposed to do. If you are like a lot of us, you had so many years of having a routine to follow and upon retirement you find it is sometimes hard not to have that routine/purpose. Trust me, it will pass  First thing you know you will see what all those retirees always said when they said they don't know how they had time to work.

Congrats on retirement Dave. You still have that motorcycle? That could provide a change of pace from the airport.

Thanks Guys! VROD Screaming Eagle 8) To get a routine started, I'll probably join one of the breakfast/coffee clubs around town - several of my buddies are in one, that meet at a mom-n-pops between me and the airport. I was invited to join the antique car club, every Monday, for lunch and whatever they do in their shop/man cave. I'll spend a lot of time bush hogging, spraying, planting, taking care of food plots, duck & deer property around the Petit Jean Bottoms. My priority, this week, is to find Crappie. OR whatever :D
