Convention

Post by 170C »

Ron, Mary Lee and all the volunteers did a bang up job! Has to be one of the best conventions. Met a lot of really nice folks and we really enjoyed the activities. As Bruce said, I wish our airport was like Creve Coeur. Seems every hangar had multiple aircraft in them and the folks were open to us looking and talking about their planes/cars. Couldn't believe their museum. Sure enjoyed seeing old friends as well as meeting new ones. Becky and I got home Sat afternoon, tired, but glad we had the opportunity to be at the convention. The only thing that could have been better would have been to have been able to have flown in Ole Pokey rather than drive, but it all worked out anyway..

My bucket list includes a trip to one of these. My thanks to all the board members that have made the Association keep going past and present.

Had a great time at the convention as usual. I hate to wish my life away, but can't wait for Gulf Shores next year. I think Ken Spivey has all the ducks in a row for another good time. Y'all start saving and planning for next year...will be here before you know it.

I am here at Oshkosh and had a great time at Creve Coeur with Ron and Mary. I enjoyed the museum hangers also. See you ALL next year.
