Airplane shipping and cradle building

Post by bagarre »

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Dani and I logged over 9 hours, 7 in one day alone, to look at the 170 project.
On a side note, the new seats are INCREDIBLY comfortable!

I'm probably going to buy the project (the price of the project is slightly more than what I'd have to pay to convert mine to a 360) but I'm going to need to have it shipped half way across the country.

Can anyone recommend a shipping company? It's just too far for me to try and rent a truck and drive it myself.

Also, any ideas or examples on building cradles to store the wings and empanage?

David,

The second post on this page has links to some photos of a trailer modified to haul a 170.
