Since 44C has neither a C85 nor a Lycoming conversion...it's only going to be so close. 8O

Arash-
You're not really going to fly it are you? I can't fathom the patience it takes to add the details you are putting into that plane. It's a museum piece at this point! Sure would be a shame to ding it. But then again, I have seen your flying videos and know how competent you are as a pilot so maybe nothing to be concerned about?

OK...I've finally realized...this thing will NEVER BE FINISHED.... Aryana is too damn picky to ever get this thing airborne! (remind anyone of their own "restoration" projects?) ....

The Hiller Museum is very impressive considering how small it is. I had the privilege of attending a party at Stanley Hiller's home before the museum was open. He was really down to the earth guy and had a amazing collection of scale models in his home many of which he built. He started Hiller Helicopters at the age of 17.

By the way, when will you start taking reservations for the bleacher seats for the test flight of the 27% build? I'm just a short hope away.

Aryana, educate this non model builder why you couldn't use the rounded tip prop when you fly this model you are building?

Is it a 6 or 8 bolt prop?

You inspired me....I just ordered the boys (and me :D ) a Piper Cub RC plane. It's almost ready to fly so not quite the same experience but hopefully it will inspire us to go big one of these days! I also ordered my dad a small ARF Champ for Christmas. When I was a kid, my dad and I flew RC, which allowed for some of the fonder memories of my childhood!

I'm impressed with the entire project, especially the door hinges and latches. That's great work. And I don't need shrunk down to 27%, I'm already a small guy. You might even need to fab some rudder pedal extensions when you let me test fly it
