Nice plane and welcome! I had to replace those springs when I bought 53C (and a bunch of there stuff) Don't hesitate to ask. Somebody here has the information.

Thanks for being such a welcoming group!!!! We were able to install the original springs with only a little swearing. We used safety wire to keep guide the springs to the general area and and also to keep them from falling into the belly. Once they were in place it was a matter of holding the pedals in the right position to get our hands in there to guide them in place. Once the new springs were installed removing the non standard springs was cake. Now the rudder is centered and the pedals return to center!!!!! Took it out on a training flight yesterday and did my first three landings in a tailwheel aircraft and it went great!
