YELLOWED PLASTIC covering Starter Cable

Post by MoonlightVFR »

What to do?

Starter cable works perfectly. I want a perfect picture when one opens the cowling. Clean Clean.

My starter cable is Covered in a plastic tubing that has yellowed. Looks old very old and if this was delivered Factory it is 64 year old
vinyl tubing covering the cable.

What have other members done?

I replaced mine with MS22759/16-2 cable (2 ga) available from Spruce. It's white, so its similar to the original. But I didn't cover it with clear tubing, which is not needed.
