i traced out the 'N' numbers today on tracing paper plan to cut them back 3/8" so a single piece of masking tape will secure them down for future polishing. i'm still trying to figure out what would be the best material to use plexiglass is too brittle to cut so am thinking about using a piece ...

my cyclo-polisher has the two rubber rotary 'pods'
to these a rubber cap is stretched over the pods that have velcro on the other side
then all the accessory polishing pads can quickly attached to the pod
what is the part number for this rubber cap with the velcro on it?

i am not a believer in this either
but i do tend to overstock hardware which tend to fall off my plane
when i lost my 1st wing nut off the cowl
i bought 2 dozen of them!!
