Last of 80 Octane Avgas?

Yesterday I flew over to Moontown (3M5) [Huntsville, AL], to pickup something from my daughter. As I usually do, I intended to fill up with 80 octane while I was there. However, they informed me that they were out and their distributor can't get any more. The only other 80 I know of in this area is ...

The gauge is described in the 2001-2002 catalog and I just thought it would be nice to have in my 180 if you thought it was a decent product, and I ever got a few dollars ahead to buy one. On another subjec...

Javlin Tank

Neil, I have a Javlin tank in my 180. It looks just like the one pictured. You do not remove the rear seat. It fits in the baggage compartment and raises the floor of the baggage compartment about six inches or so. The tunnel you see pictured on the front of the tank accomodates the rear seat bottom...

Fuel Flow Gauge

Does anyone have one or has anyone had any experience with the "Fuel Mizer Fuel Flow Gauge" sold by Aircraft Spruce on page 356 part# 10-00220. If so what comments do you have on it and is it worth the $299, which is by far the cheapest of the fuel flow/fuel management systems available th...

Avionics installation

George, I am having trouble posting on this new site. This is the third try so here goes again. I get several different answers around here as to what is required for avionics installation. My understanding is (1) for a simple slide in change for a newupgrade model using the same mounting tray it ca...
