Re: XPNDR antenna location
My transponder antenna is located between the gear legs. I experienced similar issues. I tried a different transponder, which worked for a while then went intermittent, then quit. The avionics shop ramped checked it and , it checked out normal. Then the transponder failed again. Then we tried a 3rd ...

Re: Parking brake removal ?
Yes , I am pondering finding a complete setup,.......but,
I am hopeful that, perhaps someone has come up against this, or has just done the paper work because we all strive to do things correctly.
( and if not then perhaps it is time to put together an STC for removing it ? )

Re: Parking brake removal ?
So it is looking like no one ( so far ) has any "official" , authority to remove to the parking brake system on our aircraft ??
I called Cessna , and they said they have no service bulletins which they could see on file.
I searched the FAA website for STC's and saw nothing.

Re: Loss of Oil pressure

Re: No Oil Pressure
Last night I pulled the oil screen, ( beside the oil filter ) inside the screen, was a piece of shop paper towel, a piece 1/3 of a sheet. We have no idea how this got into the sump ??? We put the oil back in and ran the engine , oil pressure came back up to 40 psi, and stayed there at 1800 RP...

Re: No Oil Pressure
I did both of these items,....... still no flow.
Next we put 4 washers in the oil pressure relieve, still no flow.
We then completely removed the oil pressure relief valve assembly, and had lots of oil flow
out of the oil relief valve hole.
