I give up... control wheels

I have searched this forum, googled till the cows come home, and the only thing I can find is: http://www.avion.com/Products/AvionControlWheels/CessnaControlWheels/CesCntrlWh.html I don't like my current control wheels, but come on... almost a thousand bucks? Anyone have any other suggestions? (Like...

Rich, When I looked at this approach chart I see, "1 min " on the chart ,right inside the holding diagram ? In my experience , if you want 5 or 10 mile legs , all one needs to do is to request it. I am going to suggest, the controllers are expecting you , and other people holding to fly &...

Camping under the wing etiquette

Well, 40C is finally complete. First flight is tommorow (Wednesday) if the WX holds up. I am planning our summer flying adventures, and so far we are planning on the fly-in at Lees Bottom in June, and the Antique Airplane Fly-in at Blakesburg in September. But I was wondering, as I've never done a f...

On average, everything else being equal:

How much does a baggage door add to the value of a 170A?

TIA
Rich

Recomendation for paint shop in the NE?

I can't afford to get the complete airplane done, but I need to get the "new" baggage door painted. Any recomendations for a paint shop in the CT, MA, NY, VT area?

TIA
Rich

STC Req. for built-in intercom?

So, if I happened to find a cheep, used built-in intercom on, oh, say, something like e-bay, can I (get it) installed in my airplane without an STC?
