Re: New Interior for the Mistress!
Believe it or not, it actually weighs less now than before! The guy who did it said that whoever did the last job just put it on top of the old upholstery!

New Interior for the Mistress!
My wife calls 4410B my mistress, so I figured it was time for some new "clothes" for her (airplane, not the wife)! Apologies, or compliments (imitation IS the sincerest form of flattery, right?) to Bigrenna for the stealing his design! I think it turned out great! Only glitch, which...

Re: Quick drain on bottom of Fuel Selector
OK, this thread got me curious about a drain under the fuel valve under 10B. I crawled under and found that there is no inspection port under my valve and no way to access the valve without cutting a new one! I could see the bottom of the selector but it was a good 6 inches from the nearest port. 44...

Re: 1952 Cessna 170B Insignia Red with original interior ?
Hi Fred. We met at the Miller fly-in a couple of years ago. How's your project coming along? If you need interior upholstery work, there's a guy in Lincolnton that does great work. Name is Bobby Carswell and his number is 704-736-9500 or cell 704-740-5178. He's doing my interior next week, hopefully...

Re: Interior pics
Thanks for all the responses so far! My current interior is OK, but I think it's time for an upgrade! The attached photos don't show the duct tape repairs that were made or the ripped side panels from pulling the seat back forward to load stuff in the back! I'm talking to a local guy who does the wo...

Re: Interior pics
Thanks, David. I remember your airplane from Oshkosh and its beautiful interior! Sorry you had so much trouble with the craftsmanship. Those are the kinds of things that drive you nuts...the small details that should have and could have been done right with a little extra attention. I had the same i...

Interior pics
Time for a new interior for 4410B! Does anyone have any interior pics that they haven't already put on the forum? I've done several searches and think I have seen all that have already been published, so if there any photos just "laying around" (is that even possible in this digital age?!)...

Ha! My wife doesn't mind my "mistress" either! Says to say hi to her, in fact, when I disappear to the airport to give "her" a massage (polish job!)
