I just ordered some 259.00 8O and when they came in the mail they looked just like the weather stripping I can get at Home Depot for just a couple of bucks :evil: The only difference is they are faa approved. thanks for all of the ideas..........I almost made a big mistake :oops: I was going to glue the carpet down, then cut out the inspection holes and glue the carpet on the inspection covers.....way tool much work

Hey thanks for all of the replies on the cost of my engine rebuild.

I feel much better knowing that I am in the ballpark. Also I feel good knowing that Robert at Mena does good work, He has been very very helpful on the phone. Hope to get my plane back soon.

Just had and engine rebuild done on my o300 and the bill seems kinda high (19600.00) That included a new in the box crank and new milinium cyldrs. the rest was able to have been rebuilt. The engine shop that did the rebuild is Mena Aircraft Engines. I was just wondering if this is an over the top pr...

First pax after private was a friend his girlfriend and her friend (1990) in a warrior. Since then I have had alot of different pax......but that doesnt count because i fly for a liv...

Well.....I got a credit back on my card for the crank. I ordered a new one and it was at the engine shop three days later :lol: Aog finished up the paint and sent me a picture....it looks GREAT. I am very excited to pick it up....The engine should be done by the end of Oct. then I can go get it........

Thanks for the reply........Every story I have read seems like the same one......this prem aircraft is a mess......I finally got someone on the phone after leaving about 10 msgs in a row. They claim it will be shipped out to the engine shop on monday.......we'll see?? I am using Mena aircraft engine...
