thanks for all of the ideas..........I almost made a big mistake I was going to glue the carpet down, then cut out the inspection holes and glue the carpet on the inspection covers.....way tool much work

Just had and engine rebuild done on my o300 and the bill seems kinda high (19600.00) That included a new in the box crank and new milinium cyldrs. the rest was able to have been rebuilt. I dont have the cartoon......but what I did get my hands on, is a copy of a "private pilot" mag dated Nov. 1966 that a friend of mine gave me that has a complete artical on the 170B.....I have an A but it is still very interesting....

Well.....I got a credit back on my card for the crank. I ordered a new one and it was at the engine shop three days later :lol: Aog finished up the paint and sent me a picture....it looks GREAT. I am very excited to pick it up....The engine should be done by the end of Oct. then I can go get it........

They claim it will be shipped out to the engine shop on monday.......we'll see?? I am using Mena aircraft engine...
