Ohh the fun little clips. There are a few ways to fix this. A lot depends on the system and paint your wings were covered with. I would suspect the one that is pulled up is either the furthest forward or the furthest aft... Also the single row, on top of the fuel tank, is the preferred method as app...

The 120-140's have it even worse yet. The 120-140 has a step with two holes drilled in the leg mid span. They have had a history of breaking at that point and they still have never made an ad concerning the subject. I know this is not a 120-140 forum but here is some info, from Cessna, concerning th...

Maybe you are thinking of the F. Atlee Dodge folding rear jump seats. These are the best deal going for fold up rear seats. Hardly a Cessna in Alaska seams to be without them. http://www.fadodge.com/ I have seen the 206 style rear seats and prefer the Atlee seats. Try to get the 206 seats approved t...

It depends on the condition of everything. Is it a sea plane prop or a standard prop. Is the propeller on its last recondition or has it never seen a file. The engine i think it would depend on as well. I think a 350hrs smoh with new cylinders at overhaul, overhauled by a reputable shop with tags fo...

A 180 would be much more practical but you always hear about someone who went a little overboard.

O-470 Powerd C-170
Anyone ever put a 470 in a C-170? Would this not work just as well as the continental 360 that everyone puts in if not better?
I am not doing nor do i know of anyone who has i just think it would be cool. What a sleeper it would be!

gahorn you might consider using paint stripper, or phosphoric acid treatment on the rusty area. (Ospho is a tradename product that will conversion-treat the rust area, turning it dark, available from many hardware stores.) Phosphoric acid is used on aircraft aluminum and on steel to arrest corrosion...

I knew that I would have to take one of the side panels loose to get that angle in. I also wondered how I would get that angle tight up against the floor pans where your feet go since they have such an angle to them where they meet the bulkhead. My bulkhead angle all ready had a few holes in it so ...

Yes I did notice the shape of your rear attachment. It looks good. It sounds like you had to go through a lot to make it work. Here are a few things to consider on the main gear. 1. I replaced the fwd side and bottom skins because of previous damage, but the part number 0513006-23 fwd bulkhead angle...
