I was a bit surprise to find that the L-19 tanks are so small given the original role it was crafted for !!

I just did a quick search; I suspect they might just "drop in" because they are listed as the same volume so nothing gained, back to my brain storming !!!!

Would the tanks from an L-19 work, same wing isn't it and wing root fuel gauges as well

I like the wings I have, recent Horton kit with VG's and fresh paint. If all i have to do is open the skins over the tanks to complete the majority of the modifications that is a BIG bonus.

That would make for a very nice, comfortable reserve quantity. Is there some reasonable literature floating around on the "how to" of this idea ??

Specs, for the 175 seem to be a little vague what is the capacity of the 175 tanks ??

That's exactly what I'm wondering Karl, a little extra juice would be very handy for my area of operations but I really don't need a full on Flint or Javelin mod

School me please, what are the benefits associated with refitting Cessna 175 wings on to the 170 fuselage. I understand more fuel capacity is one tangible, the others are ??
