Re: Dynamic Propeller Balancing
Thread resurrection! I just did this yesterday. Dynamic balance with a full spectrum analysis. I had meaningful vibration and my flying buddies were all getting their props balanced with amazing results. My starting IPS was 1.5! 8O The first washer placement brought it down to 0.8 and what a differe...

Re: Starter Motor Conversion
Resurrecting an old thread... for those of you that have done the B&C conversion, did you have to get a different battery? I have a relatively new RG-25 and the B&C can barely turn over. The battery is fully charged. Have yet to measure the amperage during cranking - I suppose there could be...

Re: anyone recognize this seat belt buckle?
Years ago I recall training in some 70's (?) C172's most of which had that arrangement. The shoulder strap had a circular attachment at the end of it that would slide in and then up and "lock" into place. I was never a fan.

C170 Association stickers
I looked in the store and don't see them listed there. Is there a place I can order some additional C170 association stickers (the round one that comes with the member packet)?

I currently have 8.00 but would like to add these soon...
I get minor rubbing on one side from the caliper so I'm thinking of adding the 1/8th spacer (I have Clevelands) especially if going to these tires. Is there a p/n for the 1/8th longer bolts I'll also need to use?

I fly on both, and park on either L or R (mainly to address cross feeding).

Re: Changing face of aviation
Being born in '81, I'm on the cusp of being a "millennial" (anything but, in practice), but started flight training in the 90's prior to GPS taking off. I've always loved paper maps and always will. Sure, I use ForeFlight for many things now...combined with an ADSB-in feed the traffic awar...
