The seats I took down to Bare metal and painted the frames, I had the leather and took all of it to a local hot rod shop and had them sew them up.

I never noticed that in that photo. It's there but it looks like it is in the flaps 10 position and it blends into the rudder peddles.

For the interior i used the tan wool headliner from Spruce, the seats I did in leather, and the cit is Airtex

Thanks, trust me I thought long and hard on the color and decided that 88A needed every bit of help it could get in the speed department. :) :lol:

I thought when repainting an aircraft the part 43 regs state that you must conform to the visibility requirements much like your old aircraft paint job :?: Yes or No? Not sure about part 43 but part 45.29 1 iv gives the size requirements and that refers antiques to part 45.22 b and that says "...

I will turn the field switch on after the engine is running and open the field prior to shut down. If you don't have a raido switch make sure you have all of your electrical items off before you turn the field on and off.

I think the 48's fuel system is different so I am not sure that plate will work for the straight 170.
