The shop that I found is a certified shop that is able to weld repair spinners. I guess he is one of two shops in the country that are able to legally do that sort of work.
I wish I took pictures of the dome, but here is the forward bulkhead.

Re: 6 Bolt Bullet Spinner?
Hi George, That is what I am finding out. It looks like someone modified a bullet spinner to work with the 6 bolt crank. It has the 6 bolt backplate and the forward flange that is held on with the prop bolts. There is a guy that is relatively close to me that can weld it and return it to service wit...

6 Bolt Bullet Spinner?
Hello all! I noticed today that I have a crack in my spinner and I am looking to replace it with a new or used one. I have O-300D with the 6 bolt crank and I am trying to figure where to find a bullet spinner without the forward bulkhead. Any insights or leads on a new/used dome would be very much a...

Re: Oil Leak at Cylinder Through Bolt
George,
Thank you very much for the information. Sounds like it would be worth a shot to try. The leak is primarily an annoyance at this point, but I would like to try to stop them if at all possible. It seems to like marking its territory!

Re: Oil Leak at Cylinder Through Bolt
Recently had a friends Swift with a C-125 which uses the same cylinders as C-145 or O-300. He had a leak that initially we thought was coming from one of the through bolts. After several cleanings and re-runs of the engine we found that the cylinder flange was cracked at the cylinder. Upon removing...

Oil Leak at Cylinder Through Bolt
Hello all!
I have been seeing some oil leaking around a cylinder through bolt on cylinder #6. How should I address this leak? From what I have read, this is fairly common in O300's?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Dripping sludge!
I may be a little late to the party, but I am experiencing a similar issue. After about an hour of flying I have a similarly sized puddle of oil coming out of the breather tube coming off the case. I have about 1300 hours on the engine and about 50 to 60 hours on 6 new Millennium Cylinders. I have b...

Re: Noisy Vacuum Pressure Relief Valve
My mechanic has to come out and take a look at it again. I mentioned to him that it might be a broken blade in the vacuum pump. When he comes out we are going to check it out. I will keep the group posted with what I find out! Again, I appreciate all the insight!
Thanks,
Max

Noisy Vacuum Pressure Relief Valve
Hi All, I am sorry I keep blowing up the forums with questions! I have the airplane down fixing the fuel gauges and I am trying to knock out as many of the squawks as I can. At the annual I had my mechanic try to see if he could find what was making a loud noise behind the panel. It turns out it was...

Re: Fuel Gauge Gasket Replacement
Hi again all,
I got the neoprene replacement floats and I have some questions about replacing them on the gauge itself. The arm that the float attaches to is swedged at the end to keep the cork float on. How do I get the new neoprene float on past where it has been swedged?
Thanks!
Max
